About us
Meet Motor Medics
Who we are
Mechanics you can actually talk to
Motor Medics Ltd. has been keeping Ottawa drivers on the road since 1985. We're a close-knit team of licensed technicians who care about doing the job right and treating people fairly.
When you bring your car to us, you speak directly with the people working on it. We'll show you what we found, explain your options and give you a clear estimate before any work begins.
We also sell a hand-picked selection of quality used vehicles, each one inspected and certified in our own shop, so you can buy with confidence.
Our values
What we stand for
Honesty
We explain what your car needs, and what it doesn't, in plain language.
Quality
Quality parts, proper tools and careful work on every job, big or small.
Community
We're your neighbours. Our reputation in Ottawa was built one customer at a time.

Our history
Serving Ottawa since 1985
1985
Opening day
Motor Medics opens its doors as a small two-bay garage with a simple promise: honest work at a fair price.
1994
Growing with Ottawa
Demand keeps growing, so we expand the shop, add service bays and hire more licensed technicians.
2003
Pre-owned vehicles
We start selling quality used vehicles, each one inspected and safety-certified in our own shop.
2012
Modern diagnostics
We invest in dealer-level diagnostic equipment so we can service today's computer-controlled vehicles.
Today
Still family-minded
Generations of Ottawa drivers later, we still treat every customer's car as if it were our own.
