Welcome to Motor Medics. Your car is in good hands.

“Go to place for all my car service and repairs. They deal with third party warranty companies. Had my mirror and driver side control panels repaired under third party extended warranty with no hassle. They are pretty busy, but still gives appointments within few days and completes all works on time. The prices for the service is reasonable and always get genuine parts from the dealer.”

“I honestly can’t thank Valera and his team enough for the incredible work they did on my Volvo. I had taken my car to multiple mechanics in town, and none of them had the knowledge or experience to diagnose the problem properly. Motor Medics was the only place that truly knew what they were doing. Valera and his team are not just mechanics, they’re genuine experts, especially when it comes to Volvos. They took the time to explain the issue, were completely honest throughout the process, and fixed it right the first time. It’s rare to find a shop where you feel confident, respected, and well taken care of, but that’s exactly what you get here. If you drive a Volvo or any car, and you’re looking for skilled, trustworthy mechanics who actually know their craft, Motor Medics Ltd is the place to go. Highly recommended!”

“Honestly the best experience i've ever had with a garage. They were speedy with their diagnostic, repair, communication, and also made sure I was taken care of. My only regret is not coming here sooner after having one of the worst nightmares with another garage listed on my warranty. I will be definitely coming back here for any future problems or work.”

“Highly recommend, I sent my car here to replace my transmission. It was there slightly over a month due to the back and forth with my warranty. It was never an issue, they only wanted to help me! Damir, he’s absolutely amazing! There was never a lack of communication, he was always a phone call away to give me updates/progress status. There is another man I dealt with, he was just as amazing! They were so patient with me. Again, very highly recommended! They’ve just gained a new customer, I will be back. Thank you guys for absolutely everything!”

“Strongly recommend. This garage still works the way good independent garages used to. Qualified mechanics who deliver what they promise. They are busy so it helps to call ahead.”

“Took my 07 Volvo XC70 in for timing belt and water pump replacement. I also had an oil leak, a typical one on these cars that was related to the cam adjuster. They fixed everything in a reasonable amount of time and at a fair price. I'm extremely impressed with how efficiently this shop runs. All the technicians are very professional, give updates on the status of work done, use legitimate parts, and do a great job! If I can, I'll always come back here for major service appointments. Especially since it's a Volvo and I want people who love them as much I do working on them.”

“I can’t express how grateful I am to the team at Motor Medics for making sure my car was safe to drive home to Toronto! I’m in Ottawa for my daughter’s volleyball tournament and need to head home tomorrow. I noticed a noise coming from my back wheel and wanted to have it checked out and fixed before driving more than 400 kms. After calling several other mechanics in the area and recognizing that it was that time of year for switching out winter tires, I was starting to feel defeated. Luckily, the owner took pity on me and allowed me to bring my car in. They found that the issue was corrosion build up in my hub, which meant my bolts were not able to be tightened appropriately, and with driving, had loosened my wheel. They checked and cleaned all my wheels and had me back on the road in no time. They were honest with the problem and only charged me for labour. Thank you so much! Great people, great service! I’m extremely happy that I found this gem of a place and have peace of mind driving home.”

“Valera is truly one of a kind! He always takes exceptional care of both me and my car, going above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine kindness make every visit a pleasure. No matter the issue, he explains everything clearly and offers honest advice, which I deeply appreciate. Thanks to Valera, my car is always in top-notch condition, and I leave every time with peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone you can trust, who treats your car like his own, I cannot recommend Valera enough. He’s simply the best! -Ayoob”

“Had the pleasure of taking in our Audi q7 for repairs to Motor Medic. The service here was refreshing and top tier. They also did a great job on the vehicle, communicating with us throughout the process so we knew exactly what was happening throughout the process. The same great service is demonstrated by everyone we interacted with. Great team work and customer service!”

“If you own a MB, BMW or Audi and you DON'T take your car here for service, it might be the biggest mistake of your life(aside from marrying your cousin). Hell, if your drive any kind of car and don't service it here, you'll miss the greatest experience of your life. The surgical precision and almost Yoda level of diagnosic and repair this team offers is beyond the pale. The friendly 'door open' greets you warmly as you enter this shine of master techs, engine surgeons and mechanical wizards. The galactic wealth of knowledge here makes the library of congress look like a kids library. More often than not, after getting the penultimate level of service here, I need to smoke a cigarette and I don't smoke. The techs are so good here, they almost float on clouds of pure talent. They are the last bastion against incompetent dealers and shade tree mechanics. I'd name my first child after Motor Medics but that would be doing a disservice to the god like levels of benevolence this operation runs These are not the droids you're looking for.”

“Recently brought my BMW to Motor Medics and I am very happy with the service. I found out about this shop through a reddit thread when I was searching for an honest, reliable german car specialist. My car had an oil leak (typical BMW behavior), i dropped my car off in the morning, they gave me call back around 2pm to tell me what was wrong with it and gave me a quote which included the price for the parts and labor. I said go ahead and I got the car back around 4pm the next day. They replaced the valve cover, changed the oil (they carry liqui moly products :)), and completed an alignment as per my request. I was stressed about not having my car back before the big snow storm, but they got everything done in 2 days! I am happy with the service and will take my car in for more services in the future.”

“Damir, it was good to bump into you tonight while walking the dog. I realize I never left you a review for my car and service. Back then Google didn’t exist yet, so I want to take the chance and tell everyone how amazing you guys are. I enjoyed my little black Golf for several years. Service you provided was top notch. Thank you so much for continuing to help people. Amazing company. Highly recommended. A++”

“Great shop. Honest, fair, very knowledgeable. They treat Canada General and our customers very well. Canada General has been dealing with Motor Medics for 7 years and I have been dealing with them for over 30 years. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“This shop has been the best experience I ever had dealing with any auto shop, and I've dealt with them all. I had a problem with my Mercedes compressor which was covered under my extended warranty. The owner I believe was Damir who fought with my warranty to make sure they would cover the cost of a brand new part. He followed up with me consistently through out the whole process and it was just a pleasure to deal with him and his team. I recommend anyone to bring they're cars here with full faith you'll get extremely good service and a superb mechanical job. I will definitely bring my car back here!”

“Recently my Subaru WRX failed me which ended up in me needing a full engine replacement. I came across Motor Medics as they were one of the shops in ottawa that my 3rd party warranty allowed to do warranty work. From the beginning Damir was nothing but amazing and kind. He told me no problem get it towed here we'll have a look when we can and go from there. Knowing these engines are not common to come by I was prepared to wait months for anything. Within a few days Damir got back to me with a possible engine lined up and that he was working to get it. Another few days went by and Damir called me to confirm the engine was secured and the work would begin once it arrived. Within less then a month in total Damir and his guys had my engine fully swapped, and ready for me to come pick it up. I was thoroughly impressed with the updates with constant phone calls, the care that went into finding my engine so quickly, and the expertise that installed my engine. My car literally runs better than it ever did. Amazing!!! Phenomenal service! Thank you Damir and your amazing staff that worked on my car. You are truly appreciated!”

“Always a fantastic experience. Well seasoned mechanics for European imports at reasonable prices. They've always serviced our Audi vehicles. They also do excellent work on a friend's Volvo. I recommend them to my mother. She bought a VW from Damir, it's been fantastic for years. Update: 4 years after this review, my opinion has only grown. Great job, every time.”

“Best service and in Ottawa… I’ve take my Audi A4 and Q7 a couple of times there now and Damir and his team have taken care of them in time, finding the issue whether mechanical or electronic and offering a solution at a fair price (Having shopped around, motor medics always offer the best price). Thank you Damir and team for your kindness and professionalism. Adlen”

“Honestly, and truly Honestly, I've been to many many garages and I wish I had known about Motor Medics before. They are honest and fair. They give it to you straight. They will not take advantage of you and give you an honest evaluation. I refuse to bring my cars anywhere else.”

“These guys are all top notch! Although they specialize in European cars, I have been servicing my two Honda vehicles here and know that I can trust my family's safety to Motor Medics vehicle maintenance and repair. A friend of mine has his Mercedes ML 350 Diesel serviced here even though he lives on the other side of the city. Won't trust it to anyone else. Knowledgeable and professional, they know their stuff and really look out for you, the customer. (Only complaint - they don't always keep their used car inventory up to date on their website.)”

“I brought my Mercedes to Motor Medic this week with a steering box issue. They were nice enough to diagnose the issue and recommend that I take it to Mercedes to fight for a recall reimbursement on the issue. This proves this shop is an honest 100% for the customer repair shop. I am from out of town and they treated me like a local, I am very appreciative of their service, If you need any work done, you can trust this shop is fair and honest. Mike!”

“My Co-worker suggested I make a visit when my engine started to have issues. He is a long time client and I can see why. I was impressed with how professional and friendly the staff were. Despite having a busy schedule they made time for me when I stopped by. Truly appreciate Valera Dunets, taking the time to explain what was wrong and following up the same day. If you want to be treated with respect and not as a number, I highly recommend you check out Motor Medics Ltd!”

“I've been dealing with Damir and the Motor Medics team since I was a teenager. Always A+ no-nonsense service. They will diagnose and fix your car correctly for a good price with no surprises. Many friends and family members trust them implicitly. I won't take my car anywhere else! Thanks guys for many years of excellent service, you've always treated me like family and that's service which is hard to find today. Please, don't ever retire! :)”

“We were looking for an affordable first car for my daughter and found it at Motor Medic. Everything that you read about how Damir and Valerya is so true! They are the best! Honest, knowledgeable and giving good advice for your purchase, these guys are a rare breed! You could trust them any time for fixing your car, they want lead you astray about how to solve your problems. Every dealings we had with them, was always done in a respectful manner. I have absolutely no problems recommending to anyone to go to Motor Medic for buying a car or car repairs. More car shops should follow the way that these guys are taking care of their customers.”

“Perfect place to bring your car to stay away from big Dealership ripoff”

“After another car mechanic failed to diagnose the problem with my car accurately I was very glad I decided to go to Motor Medics. I used to service a different car there years ago, but I had been going to the dealership and to another mechanic for a few years ... honestly, I should have stayed with Motor Medics. They have always been straightforward and done great work. That's two vehicles they've helped me with and I do recommend them. Thank you for the great job on my car yesterday! Glad to be back.”

“I bought my car from Motor Medics back in winter 2019, and Damir and his team have ben taking great care of my car's needs for maintenance and small repairs ever since. I can always count on them for their honesty, fair pricing, and most importantly, for a job well done. You can always trust that you're in good hands when going to Motor Medics Ltd.”

“They were outstanding! I needed my car fixed as soon as possible for an out of town business trip and they were able to slot me in. The car was assessed, part was ordered and installed in 2 days. Super happy with the service. I can not recommend this place enough.”

“When I was buying a used car, every dealer had the same statement “Look you’re buying a used car it’s ok to have some flaws”, except Damir. He made sure you leave his garage with a perfect car and that you’re happy with your purchase. I will definitely go there again to service my car and I strongly recommend this garage to anyone looking for someone professional and trustworthy.”

“What can I say, theres a reason they are one of the few approved by my Warranty Company. Damir is a professional as it comes, he is direct, honest and does some great work! They are very busy for a reason. It is Quality work. They take their work seriously and I am grateful for them! Thank you Damir and to the team!”

“Can’t say enough about this place. We bought a used van and the deal was easy and seamless. All the work was done for us and we just picked the vehicle up when it was ready. Not only that, a few weeks later they did a repair that could have easily cost us hundreds of dollars. They included it in the safety that we bought the car under! Great service and quality work!!”

“Fantastic shop - knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly (in other words, consummately Canadian). If my first born was a 2016 GTI in metallic blue with 140k KM and a faulty turbocharger, I would absolutely trust Damir & team to do a full turbo replacement job - in fact I did.”

“Fantastic people, great customer service, highly recommend! If you need your car fixed - go see these guys, especially Valera and John, these two will make your experience great, your car run smooth and they are very fair and honest. Thanks guys for making my day!”

“We had our first experience here today and couldn't be happier. They were able to fit us in with no notice on a Friday afternoon before the long weekend and they work with our warranty company. Great work, great price, and fantastic service.”

“I've trusted Damir with my assortment of VW and Audi over the last 20 years and he's been super helpful, experienced, and most importantly, trust-worthy. I'd easily recommend Motor Medics to anyone in the area.”

“Demir and Valerya are always right on point. Their service is great. They take care of my car as if it were their own. The dealer quoted me $2800 for winter tires and steel rims. Motor medics bill was $1250 for winter tires, rims, oil change, and a couple of lights. Thanks guys.”

“Excellent garage with skilled and educated workers. You can be assured that your car is in good hands of honest people. I’ve had them do work on my Audi as well as a bmw and again I will say they are educated and skilled with German cars. 5 star garage!”

“Do you know how hard it is to find a honest hard working mechanic !!! This is a gold mine. They fixed my car and helped me deal with my warranty company so I never even had to call them. They were fast and kept me up to date. This is a hidden gem, if only 1% of the shops were like this place. I will be a customer for life.”

“Mine and my family’s go to mechanic for any of our cars. Damir & Valero have always treated us well and always provided excellent service to our cars. Thank you for being such a trustworthy and reliable mechanic.”

“Motor medics is a trustworthy place to have your car repaired. After all Beleive it or not, Pierre Trudeau (Justin Trudeau's father) repaired his vehicle here at one point and there is photo evidence.... What more can I say really? Oh and their mechanic Valera is a pleasure to deal with, always happy to help and does it with a smile. Thank you Damir for always providing a helpful and trustworthy experience each time, every time. All the best!”

“These guys are great. I've been getting my maintenance done here for years and I've always been impressed. Recently my dad was visiting with his 25 year old VW Westfalia. He had some mechanical trouble on the trip. Damir and the team got him back on the road and caught a major safety issue that dad's regular mechanic hadn't noticed.”

“Outstanding group! Bought a 330xi bmw off Motor Medics and they have serviced it for years and have given me amazing deals! I have no complaints, nothing but good things to say! Welcoming, understanding and fast!”

“Their oil change were always fast and nice, but for whatever reasons they put the wrong mileage on the Carfax which is causing me trouble and giving me a hard time selling the car. Edit: despite the error happened to my carfax, Motor Medics actually professionally handled this problem by contacting around and ask for new ones. Much appreciated.”

“Really happy with this shop! Great work at a reasonable and honest price. Damir seems very friendly and trustworthy. Would happily bring my car here again!”

“Very professional service, Damir and his team done a great job on my car. Definitely the shop that you want to visit for servicing your car. Highly recommended!”

“Damir was incredibly accommodating and worked quickly to repair my vehicle. I could not have asked for a better customer experience or quality of work.”

“Demir will take good care of your vehicle here, this is a reliable garage with teammates who value your time and your property. Highly recommend this place.”

“Great service, fair prices. They will ensure they're doing what is best for your vehicle and not what is profitable to make a quick buck. Keep up the good work. Alex”

“I would thoroughly recommend Motor Medics. They have been my go to service the whole time that I lived in Ottawa and their service is great. Helpful, reasonable, efficient, friendly. A great garage.”

“This is my first time dealing with Damir at Motor Medics! And I have to tell you I am very pleased with the commitment and attention to details. A class act all around! Make sure you see Damir for all needs with your European cars. Well done Damir! Thanks: Ken E”

“We were on our way to a seminar, and experienced brake failure on our Volkswagon Westfalia. It was a major job as the transmission had to be dropped to get at the broken line. Not only did these guys immediately make room in their busy day for us, they fixed it on time so that we were not late for our destination, and only charged us a pittance of what it would have cost at any other garage, given the all-day labour involved. Pierre E. Trudeau used to trust this garage alone. We can clearly see why.”

“I have been taking my car here for a couple of years. Customer service is friendly. Valera does amazing work and I would highly recommend this place to everyone.”

“Great guys at this shop. They were super flexible and accommodating with timing. I think their pricing was also quite fair for what I got them to do for me.”
